I would highly recommend Over the Rainbow to anyone considering it for their child.
Our child has been going to the Eglantine site since he was a baby and the care and attention he receives is excellent. He walks in each morning without a backwards glance at us!
Our older children attended a different nursery and I wish we had visited Over the Rainbow when we were deciding for them as the family atmosphere at Over the Rainbow makes it stand out from all the others. The range of fun activities and learning coupled with the great outdoor play area makes for an action packed day!
The staff are just amazing and we really appreciate all they have done for us.

" Life without *Over the Rainbow* (OTR) would be so much more difficult. It is the place where my child is loved and cared for and is developing into the bright, happy, skilled and competent young person that I long for her to be.
She is the authentic voice for the fundamental place that OTR has in our lives. I see it in the way she races in each morning with hardly a backward glance. I see and hear it in the joyous retelling of what she has experienced- the songs she sings, the poems she recites, the skills she proudly reveals (this week she was able to count 1 to 10 in Spanish!), the developing art work that now peppers our kitchen and her bedroom creating a symbolic link between our home and her OTR ‘family’. I hear it in the importance she places on the friends she has played with and the caring adult interactions which have typified her day.
With formal school looming I marvel at how OTR have worked systematically and expertly on her cognitive and social skills to prepare her for what will be a seamless transition to the ‘big’ school. I listen to what other parents have to say about their nursery experiences and find comfort in knowing that OTR is a best in class in its field. I value this opportunity to thank the whole OTR ‘family’ for their inspiring vision, untiring commitment, authentic caring, educational expertise and all round professionalism. "

"It's hard to know where to start! OTR has been such a huge part of -----'s life over the past 3 1/2years. We are incredibly grateful for the experience she has had. "Over the Rainbow is like a small community where staff know all the children, regardless of what room they’re in, where parents are invited to birthday and Christmas parties, and where pick-up and drop-offs are calm, friendly and welcoming. My toddler’s wellbeing and development is closely monitored by amazing (and fully-qualified) staff, many of whom have been at the nursery for years. He comes home with excited stories about sensory, musical, physical or other activities that day, his home-made meals, his little friends, and his fun and creative keyworkers. And it definitely eases the guilt knowing that he’s getting so much out of his day and having such a good time!
